UNESCO/ISC Conference on Scientific Freedom
UNESCO has the pleasure to invite you to follow the Conference on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility, that it organizes jointly with the International Science Council on 9 May 2023 from 3 to 6 PM in Room IV at UNESCO Headquarters.
The conference aims to raise awareness about the importance of scientific freedom and the responsible conduct of research in addressing global challenges.
The event will be opened by Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, and Sir Peter Gluckman, ISC President, and include interventions by renowned experts.
It will feature two panels, focusing respectively on clarifying the concepts and strengthening implementation, and Q&A segments for greater interaction with the audience.
Simultaneous interpretation will be made available in English and French.

L’UNESCO a le plaisir de vous inviter à suivre la conférence sur la « Liberté et la Responsabilité Scientifiques », organisée conjointement avec le Conseil international des sciences le 9 mai 2023 de 15h à 18h dans la salle IV du siège de l'UNESCO.
Cette conférence vise à sensibiliser sur l'importance de la liberté scientifique et de la conduite responsable de la recherche dans le but de répondre aux défis mondiaux.
L'événement sera ouvert par Gabriela Ramos, Sous-Directrice générale pour les Sciences sociales et humaines de l'UNESCO, et Sir Peter Gluckman, Président du Conseil international des sciences, et inclura des interventions d'experts renommés.
Il comportera deux panels, axés respectivement sur la clarification des concepts et le renforcement de la mise en œuvre, ainsi que une session de questions-réponses pour permettre aux participants d'interagir avec les orateurs.
