December 10 marked the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. UNESCO IESALC joined the date highlighting that the basic human right to education extends to higher education, which must be universal, of quality and equitable. From our Institute, we have developed a series of consultations and research related to the right to higher education -by country, regional and thematic- to deepen policies and practices that guarantee this right throughout life and as a basis for a more just and inclusive society.
