Signing of tripartite MoU between UNESCO Chair, Research Institute for Earth Sciences, and University of Zanjan

On the 15th anniversary of the University of Zanjan and Cyrus the Great Day, a tripartite memorandum for joint cooperation was signed between the UNESCO Chair on Coastal Geo-Hazard Analysis, the Research Institute for Earth Sciences, and the University of Zanjan during the first international conference and the 28th national conference of the Geological Society of Iran on October 29 and 30, 2025, at the University of Zanjan, Zanjan-Iran. The Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair delivered two lectures on white hydrogen and the application of artificial intelligence in creating geological maps.

On October 30, 2025, the University of Zanjan celebrated its 50th anniversary and Cyrus the Great Day by signing a tripartite memorandum for joint cooperation among the UNESCO Chair on Coastal Geo-Hazard Analysis, the Research Institute for Earth Sciences, and the University of Zanjan during the first international conference and the 28th national conference of the Geological Society of Iran. On the first day of the conference, October 29th, the Chairholder delivered two lectures on white hydrogen and the use of artificial intelligence in geological map creation.
