Dr. Hamid Nazari UNESCO Appointment confirms his appointment as a member of the National Committee for Earth Sciences and Geoparks of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO for a two-year term.
The appointment was issued by Dr. Hossein Simaei, Minister of Science, Research and Technology and President of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, in recognition of Dr. Nazari’s valuable professional background, expertise, and experience.
According to the official appointment letter, Dr. Nazari will contribute to advancing the objectives of the National Committee for Earth Sciences and Geoparks. His activities will include supporting the identification and promotion of Iran’s scientific capacities, strengthening cooperation with UNESCO, and contributing to specialized initiatives related to Earth sciences and geoparks.
The Dr. Hamid Nazari UNESCO Appointment also highlights the importance of developing scientific cooperation and creating new opportunities for engagement with UNESCO in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
