UNESCO is pleased to inform you that nominations are open for the 2026 edition of the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Education.
The 2026 edition focuses on the theme “Reinventing creativity and critical thinking with artificial intelligence”, rewarding projects that demonstrate how teachers and learners are engaging with AI systems in ways that encourage critical thinking, imagination and creativity.
Two projects will be selected, and each laureate will receive USD 25,000 and international recognition during an award ceremony.
The online nominations in English or French should be submitted by 8 May 2026 (23:59, CEST).

L’UNESCO a le plaisir de vous informer que les candidatures sont ouvertes pour l’édition 2026 du Prix UNESCO Roi Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa pour l’utilisation des technologies de l’information et de la communication dans l’éducation.
L’édition 2026 a pour thème : « Réinventer la créativité et la pensée critique avec l’intelligence artificielle » et récompensant les projets qui démontrent comment les enseignants et les apprenants utilisent les systèmes d’IA de manière à encourager la pensée critique, l’imagination et la créativité.
Deux projets seront sélectionnés, et chaque lauréat recevra US $25,000 et une reconnaissance internationale lors d’une cérémonie de remise des prix.
Les candidatures en ligne doivent être déposées en anglais ou en français au plus tard le 8 mai 2026 (23h59, HAEC).
